YEREVAN, November 18. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan presented today a roadmap to overcome the current situation in the country, establish stability and security.

"Over the past week, we talked a lot about the war that began on September 27, our failures in it, the situation that arose after that and its details. It's time to talk about ways, methods and programs for getting out of this situation," the prime minister wrote on his Facebook page.

He recalled that he considers himself as responsible number 1 for the current situation, as well as for overcoming its consequences and establishing stability, and is not going to give up this responsibility.

Pashinyan presented a roadmap of the most important things for the near future:

1. Resumption of the negotiation process on the Karabakh issue in the format of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship with an emphasis on the status of Artsakh and the priority of the return of Artsakh people to their places of residence.

2. Ensuring the return of Artsakh people to their homes, full restoration of normal life in Artsakh and reconstruction of damaged houses, apartments and infrastructures in the territories under the control of the Nagorno-Karabakh authorities.

3. Provision of social guarantees to the families of the dead servicemen and civilians.

4. Restoration of residential and public buildings and infrastructure damaged during military operations on the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

5. Provision of social guarantees, prosthetics and professional training of disabled military personnel.

6. The early return of captured soldiers and civilians, provision of social guarantees to their families. Clarification of the fate of the missing and provision of social guarantees for their families as soon as possible.

7. Formation of a system of psychological rehabilitation for people who took part in the war and the public in general.

8. Approval of the Armed Forces Reform Program and the start of reforms.

9. Overcoming the coronavirus pandemic and eliminating its consequences.

10. Restoring the atmosphere for economic activity.

11. Activation of programs to resolve demographic problems.

12. Adoption of amendments to the Electoral Code and a new law on political parties.

13. Introduction of the institution of specialized judges as the first step towards the creation of an anti-corruption court. The start of the application of the law on confiscation of illegal property.

14. Conducting regular thematic consultations with representatives of the political and civil society of Armenia.

15. Conducting regular thematic consultations with Armenian organizations and individuals of the Diaspora. Involvement of representatives of the Armenian diaspora and diaspora structures in these processes.

"The main goal of the mentioned above is to ensure democratic stability in Armenia and create guarantees that nothing would threaten the formation of the authorities in Armenia through the free expression of the will of the people," Pashinyan stressed.

He noted that he is making changes to the government to implement this roadmap, the meaning and purpose of which will be to more effectively implement the above-mentioned program and maximize the adaptation of the government to the implementation of the mentioned points.

"It will take six months to launch the irreversible process of implementing these measures. In June 2021, I will present a report on the implementation of the roadmap, based on the results of which, taking into account public opinion and reaction, a decision will be made on further steps," the Armenian premier said.

He expressed gratitude to the employees of Armenia's public administration system, as well as the My Step parliamentary faction for the work done and the solidarity shown during this difficult period. “We have a lot to do and we must achieve success. To work!” the prime minister said. -0-
