YEREVAN, June 9. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will travel to Moscow to attend the parade in honor of the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War (World War II), which will be held on June 24, Mane Gevorgyan, press secretary of the Armenian prime minister, told Novosti-Armenia News Agency on Tuesday.

“Pashinyan has already confirmed his participation,” she said.

Nikol Pashinyan during a telephone conversation on June 1 informed the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin about his intention to come to Moscow for the parade in honor of the 75th anniversary of the victory. The Armenian premier expressed hope that he will recover by this time and will be able to take part in all activities.

On the same day, Pashinyan said that he and all members of his family had become infected with COVID-19. One week later, on June 8, the prime minister said that the test for the corobavirus is negative, and he is returning to full work.

Earlier, Vladimir Putin announced that the parade in honor of the 75th anniversary of victory in World War II will be held on June 24. It was originally planned to hold a parade on May 9, but it had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic - only the air part was held that day. -0-
