Armenian president appoints new ambassadors

Armenian President Armen Sarkissian signed Monday a number of decrees appointing ambassadors to some countries. According to the presidential press office, he has appointed Andranik Hovhannisyan as Armenian ambassador to Switzerland (residence in Geneva), Gagik Galachyan as ambassador to Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan (residence in Nur-Sultan) and Ashot Hovakimyan as ambassador to Slovenia, Croatia and the Czech Republic (residence in Prague).
