Serzh Sargsyan, Armenian president, signed a decree on Friday appointing Movses Hakobyan as deputy defense minister and chief of the ministry’s technical equipment division. Earlier, the president dismissed him from as deputy chief of the armed service staff.

According to the presidential press office, Hakobyan succeeded Alik Mirzabekyan, who was dismissed by Sargsyan on April 26 along with Arshak Karapetyan, the then chief of military intelligence, and Komitas Muradyan, chief of the chief of the signal troops. --0---
