YEREVAN, February 25. /ARKA/. Serzh Sargsyan, Armenian president, signed a numbed of decrees on Wednesday appointing new ministers.
The changes were prompted by an agreement on the Armenian Revolutionary Federation/Dashnaktsutiun party’s collaboration with the ruling Republican Party of Armenia, which was signed Wednesday in the presidential residency.
Serzh Sargsyan dismissed Karen Chshmarityan as economy minister and appointed Dashnaktsutiun party’s nominee Artsvik Minasyan to this position.
The president also dismissed Armen Ashotyan as education and science minister appointing Levon Mkrtchyan to this post.
Earlier, the ministry of territorial administration and emergency was split into two separate ministries, and on Wednesday Sargsyan announced Territorial Administration and Emergency Minister Armen
Yeritsyan’s dismissal, giving emergency-ministerial seat to him and declaring David Lokyan as the minister of territorial administration. --0----
