On Monday, Armenian President Armen Sarkissian signed decrees on conferring the rank of Major General on the heads of a number of law enforcement agencies.

YEREVAN, July 6. /ARKA/. On Monday, Armenian President Armen Sarkissian signed decrees on conferring the rank of Major General on the heads of a number of law enforcement agencies.
The rank of Major General was conferred on the Chief of the Armenian Police, Colonel Vahe Ghazaryan, Director of the National Security Service (SNB), Colonel Armen Abazyan and Chief of the Military Police, Colonel Ashot Zakaryan.
The rank of Major General was also conferred on the head of the State Security Service, an affiliation of the National Security Service, Colonel Sarkis Hovhannisyan. -0-
