YEREVAN, May 24./ARKA/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan discussed Friday the prospects for the further cooperation with newly appointed UAE ambassador Saif Muhammad al Zaabi ( the residence is in Tehran), President’s office reported to ARKA.

Sargsyan wished good luck and further accomplishments to the ambassador following the presentation of credentials.

The sides emphasized the strong and long-lasting friendship between the two nations, as well as amiable relations between the heads of the two states have built an unshakable foundation for an active political dialogue.

They also attached great importance to the future session of the Armenian-Emirate intergovernmental commission.

The officials also highlighted an importance to activate diplomatic contacts. -0-
