Armenian president to travel to Minsk for CIS presidential council’s session

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will fly to Minsk, Belarus tomorrow to attend Eurasian Economic Council’s session and CIS countries presidents’ meeting, the press office of the president reported today.

YEREVAN, October 23. /ARKA/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will fly to Minsk, Belarus tomorrow to attend Eurasian Economic Council’s session and CIS countries presidents’ meeting, the press office of the president reported today.
Earlier, RIA Novosti reported that leaders of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan will discuss issues related to development of the Customs Union and common economic space as well as formation of the Eurasian Economic Union.
Armenia’s application for joining the Customs Union is expected to be one of the main issues at the meeting of Vladimir Putin, Alexander Lukashenko and Nursultan Nazarbaev. ---0----
