Armenian president to visit Kazakhstan
YEREVAN, June 2. /ARKA/. Armenian President Armen Sarkissian is leaving June 3 for Kazakhstan on a working visit, the presidential press service reported.
In said in Kazakhstan Sarkissian is scheduled to have meetings with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the first post-Soviet President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. The President of Armenia will also meet with the leadership of the Kazakh Parliament.
Sarkissian and Kazakh officials will discuss a string of issues relating to bilateral cooperation and interstate relations, interaction within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union and the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
Problems and challenges that have emerged in Armenia and the region in the post-war period will also be discussed. -0-
