Armenian prime minister and European Council president discuss trade, economy and reforms

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a telephone conversation on Monday with European Council President Charles Michel, the Armenian government press office reported.

YEREVAN, February 3. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a telephone conversation on Monday with European Council President Charles Michel, the Armenian government press office reported.
It said Pashinyan and Michel discussed a set of issues pertaining to Armenia-EU relations. The parties expressed readiness for further development of cooperation, including in the field of trade and economic relations.
They also discussed the agenda of democratic reforms in Armenia. Michel emphasized the importance of the reform path chosen by Armenia. The two men were said to have also exchanged views on expectations from the upcoming Eastern Partnership Summit slated for June in Brussels. The telephone conversation was initiated by the Armenian side. -0-
