Armenian prime minister arrives in Tehran

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his spouse Anna Hakobyan arrived Wednesday morning in Tehran, the press office of the Armenian government reports. The Armenian premier traveled to Iran for a two-day official visit at the invitation of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.
YEREVAN, February 27. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his spouse Anna Hakobyan arrived Wednesday morning in Tehran, the press office of the Armenian government reports. The Armenian premier traveled to Iran for a two-day official visit at the invitation of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.
From Mehrabad Airport the Armenian delegation headed for The Sa'dabad Palace Complex, where the official greeting ceremony took place. Upon completion of the ceremony high-level talks began.
It was reported a day earlier that Pashinyan will meet with Supreme Leader of Iran Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei in Tehran.
The Armenian premier is also set to meet with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani as part of his visit. A news conference and a statement are expected after the meeting. The Iranian president will host an official dinner for the Armenian prime minister. After that, Pashinyan will meet with Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani.
The Armenian premier will also visit Ararat Sports and Culture Center and meet with representatives of the Armenian community in Tehran. On the second day of his visit, Pashinyan will travel to Isfahan and meet with the governor and members of the Armenian community. -0---
