Armenian prime minister has high hopes for new sports and youth affairs minister

Armenian prime minister Tigran Sargsyan introduced today the newly appointed sports and youth affairs minister, Hrachya Rostomyan, to the ministry staff. Hrachya Rostomyan, 31, is the youngest minister in the new government.

YEREVAN, June 18. /ARKA/. Armenian prime minister Tigran Sargsyan introduced today the newly appointed sports and youth affairs minister, Hrachya Rostomyan, to the ministry staff. Hrachya Rostomyan, 31, is the youngest minister in the new government.
Before this appointment Rostomayn was secretary general of the Olympic Committee of Armenia, and president of the Basketball Federation. Rostomyan was a professional basketball player and international basketball referee.
"Mr. Rostomyan is a prominent person in the field of sports. He has also proved that he is a good manager in the field of sports," the prime minister said.
The prime minister noted that the newly appointed minister has the appropriate skills, education and knowledge which say that Rostomyan can fully perform the duties of the minister.
"His young age suggests that he is well aware of the problems that concern young people, and I believe that under his leadership we will make progress in this direction", said Sargsyan. -0-
