Yerevan receives Azerbaijan's assurances of recognizing Armenia's territorial integrity - Mirzoyan

YEREVAN, June 5. /ARKA/. The Armenian side has received Azerbaijan's assurance that it recognizes Armenia's territorial integrity, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said today.
"Armenia, as before, has recognized and recognizes the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and we have heard relevant assurances from the Azerbaijani side that they recognize the territorial integrity of Armenia," he said on Monday during a parliamentary hearing on 2022 budget execution.
Mirzoyan said a clear description of the territories where the sides recognize each other's integrity is necessary for greater clarity.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated earlier that the sides reached an understanding that Azerbaijan recognizes the territorial integrity of Armenia (29.8 thousand square kilometers), and Armenia recognizes the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan (86.6 thousand square kilometers, including Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijani enclaves controlled now by Armenia). -0-
