YEREVAN, May 3. /ARKA/. In a statement issued today Armenia's Defense Ministry refuted what it called 'another disinformation' spread by the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan.

"The statement disseminated by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry alleging that Armenian Armed Forces opened fire at Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on May 2 does not correspond to reality," the Armenian Defense Ministry said.

It said the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively stable and is under full control of the Armenian Armed Forces. -0-
