Arpi Vardanyan has been appointed new director of Yerevan office of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU), the press service of AGBU reported.
YEREVAN, November 29. /ARKA/. Arpi Vardanyan has been appointed new director of Yerevan office of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU), the press service of AGBU reported.
Vardanyan is to manage AGBU’s large-scale activities and projects in Armenia and in the region.
“Our Union is expanding its programs and fields of activities for the sake of development and welfare of the Armenian people,” AGBU central board member Vazgen Yaghubyan said as quoted by the press service.
Yaghubyan stressed the growing importance of AGBU’s Yerevan office and expressed confidence that the new director’s experience, vigor and skills will help the office solve problems efficiently.
Arpi Vardanyan was born in Michigan. She gradated from international management high school in the USA. She was in the top management of Armenian Assembly of America for long years, headed the Yerevan office of AAA.
Armenian General Benevolent Union is a biggest Armenian benevolent organization in the world. It was founded in Cairo in 1906 by a statesman and politician Poghos Nubar. –0--
