YEREVAN, October 18. /ARKA/. Despite a new Armenian-Azerbaijani humanitarian ceasefire agreement that took effect at midnight today, Azerbaijani UAVs consistently violated the airspace of Artsakh throughout the day, the Artsakh defense ministry reported. It said the Artsakh air defense systems, having successfully identified enemy drones, hit 2 UAVs.

Armenia and Azerbaijan agreed to a new cease-fire after a truce negotiated a week earlier had been breached by Azerbaijan. The new cease-fire took effect at midnight, but, as with the  Russian-brokered cease-fire reached a week earlier, Azerbaijan violated the  truce a few minutes after it took effect, launching new offensives in the northern and southern directions using artillery, small arms, missiles and UAVs.

According to Armenian military sources, some 6,109 Azerbaijani soldiers have been killed since September 27 and thousands have been wounded. Armenian forces have also destroyed 554 tanks and armored vehicles, 4 MLRS Smerch, Uragan, TOS-1A, 186 UAVs, 16 helicopters, 22 aircraft.

According to the official data of the Armenian side, during the repulsion of the enemy's aggression, more than 670 Armenian servicemen have been killed, several hundred people have been wounded. As a result of war crimes, over 36 civilians have been killed in Nagorno-Karabakh and over 115 wounded. -0
