Artsakh Foreign Minister assesses chances of deployment of another peacekeeping mission

YEREVAN, JULY 6. /ARKA/. "The Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) authorities expect the peacekeeping forces of the Russian Federation to make every effort to lift the blockade of the Lachin corridor as part of the commitments undertaken by the statement of November 9,’ Artsakh Foreign Minister Sergey Ghazaryan said today, according to Armenpress.

He said the situation in Artsakh is deteriorating day by day, so the Russian peacekeepers should do their best within their power, especially taking into consideration that the main goal of Azerbaijan's provocations is discrediting their mission.

‘Now there’s no big prospect of having another peacekeeping mission in Artsakh and such a scenario can’t happen swiftly because it implies a serious process, especially in conditions of the existing crisis in international relations,’ he said.-0-.
