Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) president Arayik Harutyunyan signed a decree on Friday on changing the structure of the country's government.

YEREVAN, December 18. /ARKA/. Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) president Arayik Harutyunyan signed a decree on Friday on changing the structure of the country's government. According to the decree, the following structure of the Artsakh government was approved:

1) Minister of State
2) Ministry of Labor, Social and Migration Affairs
3) Ministry of Health
4) Ministry of Justice
5) Ministry of Foreign Affairs
6) Ministry of Economy and Agriculture
7) Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports
8) Ministry of Defense
9) Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures
10) Ministry of Urban Development
11) Ministry of Finance

From now on, the powers of the State Minister of Artsakh will be performed by the Minister of Finance. The new structure of other government bodies has been approved as follows:

1) National Security Service
2) State Emergency Situations Service
3) Cadastre and State Property Management Committee
4) Police
5) State Revenues Committee

Harutyunyan said on December 16 that the change in the structure of the government is aimed at streamlining the performance of government agencies,  increasing  their efficiency and saving public resources.
The president stressed that significant personnel changes will be made, including in the power structures, and when selecting new personnel, he will be guided by their human and professional merits. -0-
