Azerbaijan again cuts off natural gas supplies to Karabakh

YEREVAN, March 22. /ARKA/. Azerbaijan has again blocked supplies of natural gas to Nagorno-Karabakh from Armenia, the local distribution company Artsakhgaz said.

The pipeline that brings natural gas from Armenia passes through Azerbaijani-controlled territory.

Azerbaijan has been disrupting gas supply regularly since last December 12 when it blocked the Lachin corridor, the only road linking Karabakh and Armenia.

Armenia’s electricity supplies to Karabakh have been similarly cut off by Baku since then. -0-
