YEREVAN, July 31. /ARKA/. Azerbaijani government agencies are publishing fake documents and find fake persons who claim that Vagif Khachatryan, a Nagorno-Karabakh citizen, abducted last week by Azerbaijani military, committed war crimes during the first Karabakh war in 1990s, said the secretary of the opposition parliamentary faction Pativ Unem (I Have Honor) Tigran Abrahamyan.

"In fact, Azerbaijan has embarked on another plan to conquer Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), which, on the one hand, was expected, but on the other hand, indicates that Azerbaijan is trying to increase the number of crimes committed against the people of Artsakh," Abrahamyan noted.

According to him, the purpose of Azerbaijan's anti-legal and anti-human actions is to subjugate Artsakh.

"The resistance of the Artsakh people undermines these plans and, at the same time, forces the Azerbaijanis to hurry," he believes.

Vagif Khachatryan, a 68-year-old citizen of Artsakh, was traveling to Yerevan on Saturday morning accompanied by the International Committee of the Red Cross to receive medical treatment. He was kidnapped by representatives of Azerbaijan at an illegally established checkpoint in the Lachin corridor. The travel of the Artsakh citizen had been agreed in advance through the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross. --0--
