Azerbaijani troops breach ceasefire twice during a day
YEREVAN, January 11. /ARKA/. Azerbaijani troops have violated the ceasefire in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) January 10 for the second time this week in the Askeran region, the Artsakh Police said in a Facebook post.
According to the Police, at 17:00 they were reported that Azerbaijani armed forces deployed not far from the village of Nakhijevanik, fired for 15 minutes in the direction of a group of villagers who were working in their pomegranate gardens damaging their tractor and other agricultural equipment.
Azerbaijanis stopped shooting only after the interference of Russian peacekeepers, who also evacuated the villagers.
Earlier on Monday, Azerbaijani servicemen shelled the village of Karmir Shuka and a car parked near a kindergarten caught fire and was completely destroyed. -0-
