Azerbaijani troops resume offensive in Artsakh – defense ministry

"The Artsakh Defense Army fully controls the entire frontline, controlling all movements of the enemy and, if necessary, inflicts targeted strikes on him," the message says.
According to the the ministry’s press service, at night the battles were fought in the south-west, south-east and north. In parallel with the hostilities, the enemy forces continued to strike at peaceful settlements, in particular, they shelled the cities of Martuni and Shushi and also the village of Karin Tak.
"The units of the Artsakh Defense Army delivered pinpoint strikes at the enemy positions working in the indicated directions. The enemy forces tried to reach the Avetaranots-Sgnakh sector with the help of about 10 pieces of equipment, but were thrown back by the Artsakh Defense Army and suffered heavy losses," the message says.

Since September 27, Azerbaijani troops have been carrying out military aggression along the entire length of the contact line in Artsakh, conducting artillery and rocket attacks, including against civilians and civilian infrastructures. Strikes were also carried out at civilian and military targets on the territory of Armenia.

More than 1,110 Armenian servicemen have been killed and several hundred people were wounded. As a result of the war crimes committed by Azerbaijan, 44civilians were killed and 141 wounded in Artsakh.
Since the beginning of the war, there have been three attempts to establish a humanitarian ceasefire. All three agreements, which were reached on October 10 through the mediation of the Russian Federation, on October 17 through France and on October 25 through the mediation of the United States, were violated by Azerbaijan. -0-
