Azerbaijani troops wound six Armenian servicemen in Artsakh

YEREVAN, October 15. /ARKA/. Six soldiers of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Defense Army were wounded by Azerbaijani troops late on October 14 evening, the Artsakh Ministry of Defense reported.

It said the Azerbaijani troops opened fire on the combat position of the Defense Army located on the eastern border of Artsakh. The incident was immediately reported to the command of the Russian peacekeeping forces in Artsakh.

The Artsakh Defense Ministry said it observes the ceasefire and calls on the Azerbaijani side to also refrain from actions that destabilize the situation.

According to Armenian human rights defender Arman Tatoyan, two of the wounded soldiers were in serious condition, but their life was not in danger.

He said the shooting occurred near the Nor Shen village, in the immediate vicinity of which the positions of the Azerbaijani armed forces are located. Azerbaijani troops also fired in the direction of the village of Harav and several other settlements of Artsakh. -0-
