YEREVAN, November 14. /ARKA/. Armenia's National Security Service has launched today another border post 'Nerkin Khndzoresk in the southern province of Syunik.

This section of the border with Azerbaijan will be controlled by border troops of the National Security Service.

First Deputy Commander of Border Troops Colonel Edgar Hunanyan noted that protection of the borders of the homeland is one of the most important areas of ensuring national security.

He added that the new border post is furnished with modern equipment, arms, logistics and other necessary supplies.

Hunanyan inspected the officers' dormitory at the border post and the living conditions of the military personnel. According to the National Security Service, they meet modern standards: the dormitory is equipped with the necessary things and equipment for the families of border post officers. -0-
