Businessmen from Republican Party , who were elected under majoritarin system, won seats in Armenia’s National Assembly of the fifth convocation.
YEREVAN, May 7. /ARKA/. Businessmen from Republican Party , who were elected under majoritarin system, won seats in Armenia’s National Assembly of the fifth convocation.
According to data reported by Armenian TV channels Republican Party’s single-mandate candidates are winning in 32 out of 41 majoritarian electoral districts.
Total of 137 candidates were elected under the majoritarian electoral system in Armenia. According to the sources, Republican party’s candidates, Ruben Hayrapetyan (electoral district №1), Samvel Aleksanyan (№7), Artur Stepanyan (№3), Artak Sargsyan (№4), Garegin Nushikyan (№10), Ashot Agababyan (№33), Ashot Arsenyan (№39), Manvel Badeyan (№22), Karen Karapetyan (№32), Vrezh Markosyan (№14), Murad Muradyan (№16), Marine Marabyan (№40, non-partisan supporter of RPA) entered the parliament of the fifth convocation parliament.
Among the deputy candidates from Prosperous Armenia Party the winners are the party’s leader Gagik Tsarukyan (№28), Lyova Khachatryan (№12), David Kocharyan (№ 25), Murad Guloyan (№ 27 ), Martun Grigoryan (№34), Samvel Balasanyan (№35), Mushegh Petoyan (№36 ).
Karen Botoyan (Orinats Yerkir) is said to win at electoral district №23, and non-partisan Edmon Marukyan- at №36. --0--
