Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is arriving in Armenia on an official visit on October 10, the Armenian government press office reported.

YEREVAN, October 10. /ARKA/. Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is arriving in Armenia on an official visit on October 10, the Armenian government press office reported. It said Trudeau will take part in the 17th Summit of the International Organization of the Francophonie, slated for October 11-12 in Yerevan.

During the visit, Trudeau will have tête-à-tête talks with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, to be followed by an extended meeting. He is also scheduled to have a meeting with Armenian President Armen Sarkissian and the head of the Armenian Apostolic Church Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.

Trudeau will also visit the Tsitsernakaberd Genocide Memorial to remember the victims of the Armenian Genocide. An official dinner will be organized in honor of the Prime Minister of Canada on behalf of Pashinyan. Trudeau's official visit will end on October 13th. -0-
