A delegation comprised of representatives of the Crimean authorities has arrived in Armenia as part of public diplomacy. In Yerevan they will have meetings with local intellectual community and attend a business forum, Crimean Deputy Prime Minister Georgy Muradov told TASS on Wednesday.

YEREVAN, April 29. /ARKA/. A delegation comprised of representatives of the Crimean authorities has arrived in Armenia as part of public diplomacy. In Yerevan they will have meetings with local intellectual community and attend a business forum, Crimean Deputy Prime Minister Georgy Muradov told TASS on Wednesday.

“We have come to Yerevan for the traditional Days of Crimea in Armenia. The main goals of the trip are two - a meeting with the students ad faculty of the Moscow State University's branch in Yerevan and local intellectual community and an economic forum with local business entities', Muradov said.

He specified that during the visit, the Crimean side plans to discuss issues related to tourism, transport, as well as development of cooperation through civil society.

"The Days of Crimea in Armenia is the initiative of the Club of Friends of Crimea in Armenia. It is headed by the leader of the Constitutional Law party Hayk Babukhanyan and the leader of the Alliance party Tigran Urikhanyan. These are the people who support the Russian status of Crimea, speak openly at all international platforms in support for the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation, which is unthinkable without Crimea," Muradov said.

The clubs of Friends of Crimea as national subdivisions of the international association of the same name have been created in many countries of Europe, Asia and Africa to promote objective information about Crimea. The Friends of Crimea International Association was established in Yalta in 2017 .-- 0--
