David Arakelyan appointed head of presidential staff

Armenia’s Acting President Alain Simonyan has appointed David Arakelyan as head of the presidential staff. Before this appointment David Arakelyan worked as assistant to the speaker of Armenian National Assembly.
YEREVAN, February 2. /ARKA/ Armenia’s Acting President Alain Simonyan has appointed David Arakelyan as head of the presidential staff. Before this appointment David Arakelyan worked as assistant to the speaker of Armenian National Assembly.
The position of the head of presidential staff became vacant after the resignation of Emil Tarasyan.
Alen Simonyan, who is Parliament Speaker, assumed the duties of president after the resignation of Armen Sarkissian on January 23.
Simonyan will hold the post until the election of new president by parliament in late February or early March.-0-
