YEREVAN, November 25. /ARКА/. A decision to revise electricity prices in Armenia will likely be made in early 2026, stated Romanos Petrosyan, the interim manager of Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) CJSC.

"ENA has already conducted some calculations and has a preliminary idea of how much the prices could be revised," Petrosyan noted at a meeting with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Tuesday.

In turn, the prime minister emphasized that price setting must be entirely justified, free from political manipulation and attempts to please citizens.

"It is crucial that the price not be higher or lower than the required level. It must ensure the normal functioning and development of the system. Artificially lowering prices for the sake of political expediency has led to crises in many countries," Pashinyan noted. -0-
