Deputy foreign minister, spokesperson resign
YEREVAN, May 31. /ARKA/. Armenia's Deputy Foreign Minister Gagik Ghalachyan has tendered today a resignation letter, Aysor.am reported quoting a source in the Foreign Ministry.
Earlier, Anna Naghdalyan, spokesperson for the ministry, also announced that she resigned as press secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry.
"I would like to inform all that from now on I will not act as press secretary of the ministry. I would like to thank all media representatives, colleagues in the ministry, my team for effective cooperation and assistance in this difficult and responsible period," Naghdalyan wrote on her Facebook.
She also expressed special gratitude to ex-foreign ministers Ara Ayvazyan (resigned on May 27, 2021) and Zohrab Mnatsakanyan (held the post from May 12, 2018 to November 16, 2020) for their trust, saying it was an honor to work with such experienced diplomats and patriots.
“I inform you that I will continue to work in the diplomatic service,” Naghdalyan said, adding that for comments and questions, the media can use the e-mail spokesperson@mfa.am. -0-
