Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired today an emergency meeting of the Security Council to discuss developments in the region, particularly the situation in the Lachin corridor, Pashinyan’s  press service reported.

YEREVAN, December 13. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired today an emergency meeting of the Security Council to discuss developments in the region, particularly the situation in the Lachin corridor, Pashinyan’s press service reported.

In a related development Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) State Minister Ruben Vardanyan set up operational headquarters that will operate 24 hours a day after the blockage of the highway connecting Artsakh with Armenia by a group of Azerbaijanis.

Artsakh Ministry of Internal Affairs said earlier as a result of Azerbaijan's latest provocation Artsakh is in blockade and rights of thousands of citizens are violated.

The Stepanakert-Goris interstate highway being the only road linking Artsakh with Armenia have been closed in both directions since Monday morning. -0-
