YEREVAN, June 9. /ARKA/. The EU will continue to deepen its partnership with Armenia, expanding cooperation in energy, trade, and digitalization, European Council President António Costa said in a telephone conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

According to the Armenian government's press service, Costa congratulated Pashinyan on the election results, noting that the Armenian people voted for a future based on peace, stability, and closer cooperation with their neighbors and the international community.

Costa praised Pashinyan's contribution to strengthening Armenia's resilience, stability, and prosperity.

Pashinyan thanked Costa for his support, emphasizing the importance of developing relations between Armenia and the EU.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on regional development and the peace agenda, emphasizing the importance of establishing lasting peace and stability in the region.

They mutually reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation between Armenia and the EU for a more peaceful and prosperous future.
