YEREVAN, November 2. /ARKA/.The eleventh extraordinary convention of Armenia’s Orinats Yerkir political party is scheduled for December 22, the party reported to ARKA following yesterday’s meeting of its political council.

The leader of the party, Arthur Baghdasaryan, highlighted the agreements reached within his visits to Russia and China. He also noted such agreements will ensure Armenia’s security and will foster military and technical cooperation development with these countries.

Baghdasaryan added Orinats Yerkir and China’s Communist party had officially agreed to cooperate.

Political panel of the party also discussed the issues related to domestic and foreign policy.

Orinats Yerkir political party was founded in 1997 by the current secretary general of Armenia’s National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan.-0-
