First President of Armenia: Artsakh lost due to Pashinyan's adventurism
YEREVAN, 26 December. /ARKA/. Armenia's first president Levon Ter-Petrosian published a statement addressed to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his Facebook page.
It reads as follows:
‘What is there to discuss with you, when because of your adventurism the subject of discussion - the thousand-year-old Armenian Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh)- no longer exists, and the only thing left for you is to desperately try to divert the attention of our people from this bitter reality.
Make all the noise you want, but this reality has already become a historical fact that cannot be erased.
And if you, Nikol, want the public to know the whole truth about the diplomatic process of resolving the Karabakh issue, I suggest, since the secrecy of this process has lost all meaning after the collapse of Artsakh, to publish all peace plans (including the one officially presented by the Minsk Group Co-Chairs in June 2029, as well as the official responses to them by Armenian diplomacy.
That would be a real discussion based on facts. If you fail to do so, you will prove once again that you are avoiding the truth and cowardly evading historical responsibility.’
Pashinyan has invited Armenia's former presidents to public debates on Karabakh four times in recent days, but representatives of the former presidents have said the ex-presidents have nothing to discuss with Pashinyan.
