For the 7th time on March 16-18, Armenian Defense Ministry denies Azerbaijan's report of shooting on the border

YEREVAN, March 18. /ARKA/. For the seventh time between March 16 and 18, the Armenian Ministry of Defense has denied Azerbaijan's report of shooting on the border.
"The report from the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, claiming that on March 18, around 08:55, units of the RA Armed Forces opened fire in the direction of Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern section of the border zone, is false," the Armenian Ministry of Defense stated.
It is noted that, at this time, the Republic of Azerbaijan has not provided the Republic of Armenia with any factual data or justification regarding the alleged violation of the ceasefire by units of the RA Armed Forces.
The Armenian Ministry of Defense reminded that the office of the Prime Minister of Armenia had proposed creating a joint mechanism between Armenia and Azerbaijan to investigate cases of ceasefire violations and/or the information surrounding them. However, Azerbaijan has yet to respond to this proposal.
The Armenian Ministry of Defense affirms that, in line with the position of the Prime Minister’s office, it is ready to investigate the facts supporting the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense’s statement, should they be shared with Armenia.
