YEREVAN, August 29. /ARКА/. Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar reported on a telephone call with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.

"Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan and I had a warm conversation on the phone today and agreed to consider establishing diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Armenia," Dar said in an X post.

Pakistan has not recognized Armenia's independence or established diplomatic relations for 30 years.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in November 2023 that normalizing relations with Azerbaijan could help establish diplomatic relations with Pakistan.-0-
