Foreign Ministers of 3+3 platform countries to meet soon in Turkey - Iranian Ambassador to Armenia

YEREVAN, 19 July. /ARKA/. The next meeting of the foreign ministers of the 3+3 platform will be held soon in Turkey, Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Mehdi Sobhani said in an interview with Iran's SNN news agency.
He said Iran proposed the 3+3 format and holding the first meeting was one of the achievements of its government.
‘The meeting of foreign ministers of this platform was held for the first time in Tehran, the next meeting will be held soon in Turkey,’ Sobhani noted.
The six countries of the region are Turkey, Azerbaijan, Russia, Iran, Georgia and Armenia. The so-called ‘platform of six’ or ‘3+3’ format) was proposed immediately after the end of the war in Nagorno-Karabakh in autumn 2020 by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
