YEREVAN, January 19. /ARKA/. The ruling Republican Party of Armenia has already decided whom to nominate for the country presidency, but has still not revealed his name.

Eduard Sharmazanov, Armenian parliament vice-speaker and a member of the party’s executive board, said Thursday night after the party board meeting that the chosen person has a rich working record, speaks many languages, known in Armenian communities worldwide and will be able to present the country abroad.

He said that this person has been chosen by Serzh Sargsyan, the present president, and the party board members voiced their consent.

Asked by journalists to reveal the name of the candidate, Sharmazanov said that this will be done by Serzh Sargsyan tomorrow.

He only said that this will be not a sensation, this choice was not unexpected and this person has already been considered as a likely presidential candidate. --0----
