YEREVAN, September 10. /ARKA/. Secretary General of the International Organization of Francophonie Mikaelle Jean will be in Armenia September 10-14 on an official visit, the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.

On September 11, she will meet with Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, to be followed by a joint press conference.

She will also visit the Tsitsernakaberd Genocide Memorial to pay tribute to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide.

On October 11-12 Armenia’s capital city Yerevan will host the International Francophonie Summit to be held under the slogan "Living together in solidarity, sharing humanistic values and respecting diversity as a source of peace and prosperity in the region of Francophone." An economic forum will also be held as part of the international gathering. -0-
