YEREVAN, April 19. /ARKA/. By a vote of 85 to 20 Armenia’s National Assembly elected Thursday Garegin Baghramyan as chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC). Before the election Baghramyan served as acting Minister of Energy and Natural Resources. Baghramyan’s candidacy was proposed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Gevorg Gorgisyan from the Bright Armenia parliamentary faction said he was surprised at the logic his colleagues from the governing My Step faction use when making decisions.

“When our colleagues are told that they have no experience, they report  by saying that ‘yes, they have no experience in corruption and robbery’. This person (Baghramyan) has this experience. I’m sure you will choose him, although I don’t understand the logic behind his nomination,” he said asking if there are no cadres in Armenia who could replace the old ones. -0--
