YEREVAN, November 15. /ARKA/. Georgia is ready to act as a mediator in negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, if both sides wish. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, in an interview with Georgia's First Channel.

“If there is interest in Georgia, for example, acting as a mediator or becoming more actively involved in facilitating the negotiation process in some other capacity, we will always express our readiness in this regard,” TASS quotes Kobakhidze as saying.

The Georgian Prime Minister emphasized that this readiness continues to stand.

"If there is mutual interest, we are ready to offer our assistance and support to our two neighboring countries," Kobakhidze said. -0-
