YEREVAN, March 31. /ARKA/. German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Büdenbender arrived in Armenia yesterday evening as part of a regional visit.

They were greeted at “Zvartnots Airport” by Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan, according to Armenpress.

It was previously reported that Steinmeier is scheduled to meet with Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan and PM Nikol Pashinyan during his visit to Armenia.

Steinmeier will visit the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies and participate in a cultural reception. He will then travel to Dilijan to meet with Armenian women entrepreneurs and learn about the city's development project.

At Lake Sevan, Steinmeier will visit the local Church and the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center, which collaborates with the Helmholtz Center for Environmental Research.
