German President to visit Armenia for the first time

YEREVAN, March 17. /ARKA/. German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier together with his wife Elke Büdenbender will be visiting Armenia from March 30 to April 2 within the framework of a regional visit

The German President will visit Armenia and also Azerbaijan for the first time, according to his official website.

In Armenia, Steinmeier will meet with President Vahagn Khachaturian and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

He will visit the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies and take part in a cultural reception, then visit the resort town of Dilijan, where he will talk to Armenian women entrepreneurs and get acquainted with the city development project.

On Lake Sevan, Steinmeier will visit the local church and the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center, which works in partnership with the Helmholtz Center for Environmental Research.-0-
