Germany completes all Armenia-EU CEPA ratification procedures

Germany has notified the EU Council upon the completion of its internal procedures necessary for the ratification of the Armenia-EU Comprehensive & Enhanced Partnership Agreement, the Armenian foreign ministry reported Monday on its Facebook page.

YEREVAN, August 26. /ARKA/. Germany has notified the EU Council upon the completion of its internal procedures necessary for the ratification of the Armenia-EU Comprehensive & Enhanced Partnership Agreement, the Armenian foreign ministry reported Monday on its Facebook page.

This means that German has become the 16th of the European Union's 28 countries to ratify this agreement.  

Earlier, the agreement has been ratified by the Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Luxembourg, Denmark, Malta, Romania, the United Kingdom, Finland, HUngary, Slovakia and Cyprus. The agreement is also ratified by the Swedish parliament.

The Armenia-EU Comprehensive & Enhanced Partnership Agreement was signed on November 24, 2017 and ratified by the Armenian parliament on April 11, 2018. Armenia has become the first Eurasian Economic Union member country to sign such an agreement with the European Union. -0---
