Grigoryan presented Shoigu with Washington agreements

YEREVAN, August 21. /ARКА/. On Thursday, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, engaged in a telephone discussion with Sergei Shoigu, the Secretary of the Security Council of Russia, as reported by the press service of the Armenian Security Council.
Grigoryan informed his counterpart about the agreements made on August 8 in Washington during the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, expressing his belief that peace has been established in the region, which aligns with the interests of all countries involved.
Additionally, Grigoryan addressed the unblocking of communication routes in the region and the economic prospects that arise from this development, highlighting their significance for the interests of all nations.
In response, Shoigu shared the outcomes of the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump in Alaska, along with subsequent actions.
The two officials also deliberated on matters concerning the Armenian-Russian agenda.-0-
