YEREVAN, November 17. /ARКА/. During a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Yerevan today, U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Alison Hooker announced the launch of bilateral working groups, led by Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Sonata Kalter, aimed at implementing the bilateral agreements reached on August 8 and advancing Trump's Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP).

According to the Armenian government press service, Hooker noted that she arrived in Yerevan to advance the vision formed by Trump and Pashinyan during their August meetings in Washington, as well as to discuss deepening cooperation in trade, investment, infrastructure, regional connectivity, and security.

The Deputy Secretary of State noted that cooperation between the United States and Armenia, coupled with progress toward a comprehensive peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan and normalization of relations with Turkey, promises to open the South Caucasus as a vital trade route.

She stated that this will create significant benefits for both the American and Armenian people, made possible by the leadership of President Trump and Prime Minister Pashinyan.

Pashinyan, noting that cooperation between Armenia and the United States has recently reached a new level, said this partnership is perceived in a new way by both the government and the Armenian public.

The Prime Minister also praised the personal contributions of the United States and President Donald Trump to establishing peace with Azerbaijan and emphasized the importance of the agreements reached at the Peace Summit in Washington on August 8 and the ongoing implementation efforts according to the agreed upon schedule.

He also noted that the extensive agenda of bilateral relations with the United States covers various areas and directions. During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed issues related to the implementation of the agreements reached between Pashinyan and Trump, the activities of working groups, the implementation of the TRIPP project, and upcoming programs.-0-
