ICRC representatives negotiate meeting with Azerbaijanis detained in Armenia

YEREVAN, April 14. /ARKA/. Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) are holding talks (with Armenian officials) to visit two Azerbaijani soldiers detained in Armenia earlier this week.
One of them confessed in a video to the brutal killing of Armenians. Zara Amatuni, head of communication programs at ICRC Armenian Delegation, told Novosti-Armenia news agency that they have not yet met with Azeris, but are holding talks with Armenian government representatives.
She also said that contact has been established with the families of the detained Azerbaijanis.
Earlier the Armenian Defense Ministry said two Azerbaijanis crossed the border a few days ago (presumably, from Nakhijevan exclave of Azerbaijan) into Syunik region of Armenia.
The first was detained on April 10 overnight, the second - on April 13. Both of them were tracked and detained by local residents and later handed over to the Armenian National Security Service. --0--
