Incumbent president casts his presidential election ballot for future of Armenia

Incumbent president of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan who is running for re-election, has cast his presidential election ballot for the future of Armenia.

YEREVAN, February 18. /ARKA/. Incumbent president of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan who is running for re-election, has cast his presidential election ballot for the future of Armenia.
“I have voted for the future of our country, for secure Armenia, for the security of our citizens and families”, Sargsyan said after he cast his ballot at 9/11 polling station, where he was together with his wife.
Sargsyan said he will comment on the election process only after the outcome of the election is finalized.
Seven contenders are running for the country’s president today: incumbent president Serzh Sargsyan, former prime minister and leader of Freedom party Hrant Bagratyan, former foreign minister and leader of Heritage party Raffi Hovhannisyan, well-known Soviet dissident and leader of National Self-
