Individuals cooperating with Foreign Intelligence Service will also have access to state secrets

YEREVAN, January 22. /ARКА/. The Armenian parliament has approved today in the first reading a package of legislative amendments, which say that employees of the Foreign Intelligence Service will have the right to access information that is a state secret.
At the same time, according to the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Kristine Grigoryan, individuals who cooperate with the Service will also be able to gain access to classified information.
In addition, legal entities that cooperate with the Foreign Intelligence Service will have the right to work with information that is a state secret.
According to her, the security of information will be ensured by the Foreign Intelligence Service together with other competent authorities.-0-
