YEREVAN, February 6. /ARKA/. Iran decisively supports the territorial integrity of countries and especially Armenia, Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Mehdi Sobhani said on Thursday.

According to the diplomat, Iran is categorically against changing the internationally recognized borders and the use of force to solve the existing regional problems.

Iran, as the Ambassador noted, considers both Armenia and the Armenian people friendly. Moreover, it has continuously supported Armenia's development and strengthening over the past decades.

“Iran considers it important to establish lasting peace and stability in the region,” the diplomat told reporters. --0—

On Friday, Armenia and the UN signed a framework document on cooperation in sustainable development for 2026–2030.
